What it does

• Capture by voice. Speak to HiJavis on your iPhone or on a Javis device and it transcribes, summarises, and files what you said.
• Calendar from conversation. When a commitment shows up in what you captured, HiJavis drafts the calendar event and asks you to confirm it.
• A wiki that writes itself. Threads you approve — and threads from senders you have approved before — are distilled into pages you can search later, instead of being re-read.

How HiJavis uses your Google account

Connecting Google is optional. HiJavis works without it; connecting it enables the calendar and email features above. When you connect, you are asked for exactly two permissions:

Permission	What HiJavis does with it
calendar.events	Reads the events on your primary calendar so Javis can show your real schedule, and creates, updates or deletes the events you act on in the app. HiJavis cannot see your calendar list or change sharing settings.
gmail.readonly	Reads message headers and previews to shortlist which threads are worth keeping, reads the text of a shortlisted thread to judge it, and searches your mailbox when you ask the assistant about your email. Threads you approve — and threads from senders you have repeatedly approved — are summarised into wiki pages. HiJavis cannot send, delete, or modify mail.

You can disconnect Google at any time from the app's settings. Doing so revokes HiJavis's access with Google, disables the stored credentials, and purges the email data it derived from your inbox — apart from the pages and cards you had already approved, which are yours to keep or delete.
